Course Description: This course will focus on quantitative research designs and data analysis. This includes both design of research studies involving relationships among many variables and appropriate statistical analysis of these designs. The course will be conducted as an integrated combination of lectures and laboratories. During the lab sessions, we will use the statistical package SPSS. All examples and exercises will be conducted with SPSS. Your course grade will be determined by your performance on two in-class exams, take-home problem sets assigned during the semester, and on the write-up of a data collection project.
